My family and friends just returned from another fantastic weekend away to Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp Resort in Quarryville, PA! When I describe this trip to my friends I always say how it’s just good old fashioned fun. As a child of the 80’s this place reminds me of the innocence of my youth. The kind of place where you can unplug from the internet and just get back to basics!
This 63-acre resort has all the amenities of a camping experience for every kind of camper. You can choose tent, RV or different levels of cabin camping. Many of the cabins include full bathrooms and kitchens. Your stay always includes the water resort, mini golf, daily activities and MORE! The only extra costs are some of the arts and crafts projects where you are paying for the craft you want to make. This was our second visit and we already have our trip booked for next year! Here is a little recap of our visit:
We spent most of our days at the huge 40,000 square foot water resort. The kids had their choice of splashing, riding the slides or just swimming in the pools. The fun was never ending.

Even us parents got in on the splash area fun! It was awesome!

When they were not swimming the kids were participating in many of the other FREE activities the resort offers. Playing mini golf, jumping on the bounce pillow, hanging with Yogi Bear and friends, enjoying hay rides, visiting animals at the petting zoo, watching magic shows, running through the park, playing gaga ball, fishing, watching movies and so much more!

The resort also offers a few activities at a small price. Things such as arts & crafts, playing candy bar bingo or visiting the arcade. These were all reasonable priced and in total we spent less the $40 for the entire weekend once we were there.

At night once the pool was closed and the organized fun had ended we enjoyed some good old fashioned camping fun. Dinner on the grill, S’mores by the fire, silly stories before bed and memories that will last a lifetime! Thank you Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Camping Resort for showing my kids the kind of fun I remember growing up. We can’t wait to come back! -Sandy
